Meet British Pete, my latest team member on a new assignment. We traveled to Texas two weeks ago and we're in Oregon this week - all for work of course. Aside from the fact that he's a momo and I'm not, or the fact that he probably thinks I'm a crazy senior to work for, I simply adore him. I'm telling you, it's somewhat creepy how compatible we are. Here's a list of reasons why I adore BP...
1) He doesn't drink or smoke. He did once have a creme brulee where the alcohol wasn't completely burned off and it made him loopy. 2) He's got an annual pass to Disneyland. When I asked what his favorite Disney movie was I totally guessed Lion King and he said "How'd you guess?!" 3) He loves Harry Potter, and since he's got the British accent, he can do the voices pretty well. And speaking of HP, you know how they had prefects for each Hogwarts house and a head boy? Well, he told me in England he was a prefect and a head boy, how adorable is that? 4) He's 30 (my new rule is to "date up") and he doesn't let anyone pressure him to get married even though he's got a million nieces and nephews. 5) He turned all red when I told him Holly said he was a hottie 6) He likes to eat pho (vietnamese noodle) for lunch and aside from the fact that i've never seen a white person eat this, he put his lime in his soup. I swear I thought I was the only one that did that. 7) He opened a can of cherry coke to which I said "you can't drink that, it has caffeine"... to which he shrugged and said "you can't always follow the rules"... what can I say? A girl can never resist a rebel. 8) We were talking about pretending to be food critics from Zagat next time we go to a fancy restaurant for dinner. I chose Patricia for my snobby food critic name, and when I said "How about your name?" we both blurted out ROBERT! And then silence. Because it was just creepy that we thought the same name. 9) He looked so triumphant when he won our little bet where he claimed Sandra Bullock starred in Demolition Man before Speed and I thought the opposite. 10) Did I tell you he's fluent in Korean too? It's cute.
I'll be back with more later.Labels: Friends |

Okay, this guy sounds so perfect he seems made up. What's the catch? :-)

Rebellion by Cherry Coke. I love it!

It's really too bad he's Mormon (that's the catch, Rosie. He's Mormon and she's Catholic) because he'd be perfect for you otherwise. And he IS a hottie. :)

Any pic to share? and he does sound perfect :D LOL, if it doesn't work out, you can ship him to Canada ;D

Yup Rosie, Holly is right. But it's all good because he's such a great friend and we have good times out here.
Kat - I know huh? I wouldn't want him to ever cave in but he gives me the impression that he is really curious. Poor guy. At lunch today he goes, what would you think if I just ordered a beer?
Nath - I'll email you a pic. :)

There's something to be said for a man who is willing to be corrupted. *g*

I want a pic! He definitely sounds like a cutie. :P

Sounds like you'd be great together except for that "little catch" but at least he can be your boy-bff! lol
