Man, I almost had a heart attack just now. I was just sitting here minding my business, when my mom comes in and goes "oh by the way I borrowed one of your books." Okay, my first thought was oh crap did I leave one of my erotic books on the top of the piles? I asked her which one she borrowed, and it ended up being some random non-romance book I've never read. Thank GOD!
That kinda made me think ya know. What if my mom DID really rummage through my things and start reading my books? I mean, I'm not THAT worried about some of my romance collections because a) I know my mom used to read that stuff way back when; and b) she would never even pick up the paranormal vampire ones. What worries me are my recent acquisitions of... well, erotic books. LOL, there I said it. But I like to refer to them as cookbooks. Anyhoo, these cookbooks... omg, if my mom ever saw them, my ass would be grass.
I've never really had any shame reading romance books, but I think I'm feeling guilty about the cookbooks. I think this was a sign, like a warning. The next time I might not get so lucky. So what to do what to do? I know! After I finish reading the cookbooks, I'll just ship them to Holly and she can be the keeper of the cookbooks. =)Labels: Romance book related |

Although...that could work in my favor.

Mormish~ Hi sweetie. Of course I read Twilight! gobbled that book up in like two days! The girls fight over Edward all the time. I love him. I want him. Haha. And don't worry, I won't tell Will because I totally understand your love for him too! haha. I'm liking new moon so far, not as much as Twilight right now b/c ****SPOILER AHEAD SO DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT**** I'm mad that Edward left. It's so depressing. But hopefully it picks up.
And yes, I did read about the author in the back and I pretty much guessed she was a LDS. I think that's why I like the book so much, it's different from my normal romance books. It's still a love story but still pure and honest. First time for me reading a young adult book. I think it won't be the last either.

So you're still not done with New Moon yet? I totally understand because I was depressed in that book too, SM totally knows how to depress a sister, huh? I love it though. It gets better at the end and then we just have like a 4 month wait for Eclipse, woo hoo, I can't wait for that.
I heart Edward. A LOT.

I think I need to stop reading them. It's getting to the point now where they don't even phase me, which is just sad.
I didn't know SM was LDS. That's very interesting. I loved both books and can't wait for Eclipse. I want Midnight Sun more than anything, though. *Sigh*

LMAO! You know what? I torture my mom with the fact that I read erotic books. lol. Yup, I tell her 'what? I'm married I can read about sex. It's not a sin.' lol. She turns all red. BUT if I weren't (married) I would soooooo hide it from my mom. lol. She would kill me. But then she thinks my regular romance books are 'smut'. lol. That's my mom for ya.
